If anyone feels so inclined I've posted pics of a bunch of the roosters I had a few years ago. Might be able to find them.
American games can be on the smaller side. My Albany are smaller than say a grey. Also the Spanish fowl are smallSomeone is bringing me a mystery bird today in exchange for my sebrights... as now that I've spent the time to raise them I'm not interested in breeding or keeping them. Of course. Don't have a clue what it is. It looks game but it's too big to be a bantam and appeared too small to be a standard. No idea what she is... but she goes broody all the time. Might find her a mutt companion and let her sit on other chickens eggs.
you're welcomeThank you for the reply. The chicks were listed as "bantam crosses" with a picure of the roo and blurb about his mystery status. It wasn't an intentional breeding. Just two sneaky birds with their own ideas.
I've decided to just continue to enjoying him as is. If we incubate any eggs next year I'll keep a couple of hens for ourselves and make the rest fryers.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it.
I wouldn't go on someone's looks like. She's a hen and we'll never ever know lol. Just take good care of her. Or put her over riceProbably. Which is what I figured I would find. They told me three different bloodlines and hatch wasn't one, but they're all blue legged. Lol.
agree.. dont say she is hatch just because I said she looks like one... I'd be curious to know which 3 bloodlines... Blue legs are not very common, especially in crosses from what I have experienced over the years.I wouldn't go on someone's looks like. She's a hen and we'll never ever know lol.
