Each year in the spring after the first real good soaking the terminites come out the ground at night and the air is filled with them. Then they leave their wings on everything it almost looks like snow

Ant hatches here are annual and significant. Dragonflies, swallows and swifts stack up to get the flying ants so whole thing looks like a diffuse tornado. I have videos of chickens hawking those same events. Very soon it will happen over many square miles and go for a couple weeks.
