@YdogsflY,
If you are serious, then then you will not be put off by my remark. You can keep a pair or trio free-range with ease. Penning and breeding as indicated above gets a lot more complicated as already indicated. Rearing in confinement takes some learning and you can find young birds can be a threat to themselves. Even free-range they can be a threat to themselves when you start managing tightly to keep adults from fighting each other.
What is your desired end point with these birds if raised?
I'm not sure if serious at this point, but really getting the itch. I will need to build new infrastructure if I do decide to jump into it. I was going to be building new conditioning pens and family pens soon as we are hoping to add some good American Dominiques to the farm. SO I could just build a few more while I'm at it for the Games.
I have not thought of the End Point for the Games until your question. To be honest, I really don't know. Sitting here now, the endpoint would be a nice flock of Games worthy of the past and breed preservation. But in reality the End point is a nice flock of Games, possibly showing, and a hobby my daughter and I shared together. The End Point can certainly change as directions in fowl often do.
Good question. Gives me something to mull over.
