We finally got a break from the heat around here. Weather has been really mild, like in the 80s. Tonight it almost feels chilly. My chickens are going to get confused and think winter is coming, so to drive me crazy they will fill up nests and try to hatch babies. Everyone is mad at me. I'm the egg thief this week.

These that are going on a week or so are games no mixes yet. But the swedish flower powers are a good breed they are a landrace breed so pretty tough in their own right.

Gotta watch the heat. After the first few weeks of dead of summer heat I get used to it as long as I start out early outside and acclimate. rough if I stay in then go out at noon.

Their the games this batch, but wife and kids and mothern law want some chicks from the others now and im vary wary of doing so its getting to late in the year for one.

Lacy roundhead. Well hope all has been well with everyone as u can see I have been busy. Over a thousand birds. And I'm glad I did that. There is so much to learn from each breed. I'm thankful Iam getting the chance to learn a bunch. And to top it off my son was born yesterday. It was truly a special day

The chicks hatched about a week ago are games.

But yes that whatthey want which may eventually happen next year as id do anything for my kids its not like id call em games or sell them as most would be culled for eating or kept for laying if grown out. But ima focus on the games what they do isnt a big deal to me.

The games are fascinating but so are all the other breeds... I wish I had more land... so I could really get into everything the way I want... I got a soft spot for PHs they are my number one favorite American GF line.
