I must admit I shot those at 43 yds. He was missing or hitting the deer in the head at 10 yds but he's having fun.Dang! Nice grouping!!

There was a range my buddy belonged to bout a half hour from me that had real long ranges. 1000 yds + Pretty sure you could shoot whatever you wanted there. Think it was about 1k a year for membership. I think it closed down too. The range right next door to me is only 300 yds I think. Free for me but think it's about $100 a year or somewhere close.that would be nice. I enjoy my 17 the most. But 223 is right there with it. The only range decently close to me closed down I think they selling it. Everything else is indoor.
Yeah shooting indoors gets old after about 5 minutes and most ranges are expensive. Around here anyway.Im not a fan of indoor at all its boring, i wanna be outside shooting.
Furthest muzzleloader deer was about 45 yds. Bow right at 40-42 yds. I won't shoot past 40 yds or so with a bow. Once I get a longbow and start hunting with it after plenty of practice I'll probably still go hungry. LolThat they are i stretched out to 425yds at a range i usually stick to my buddys 100yd or father inlaws 225yd. To be truthful the furthest deer was 175-200 yards away so stretching out is just for fun. If i recall the membership is around $200 and goes out to 500yds.
