I've used G5 broadheads for years. A couple years ago a buddy gave me some Swhacker mechanicals. "They fly just like field points and kill fast" he said. Well, I had to do some adjustment to get them to hit where I wanted, just like I do with a fixed broadhead. Though, they did fly a little closer to the field points.

We went to Florida for a hog hunt. I figured I'd used the Swhakers to try them out. The few hogs I got, There was a bigger hole, the hogs only ran an average of 40 yards, which is less than the G5's I normally use. I was pleasantly surprised by the blood trail, which was thick and easy to track through the palmettos. I've been a fan ever since, but still use the G5's for deer. The damage to the mechanicals was a turnoff. Unusable after hitting a hog or a tree, but did their job well and no failures.

I just got back from the bow shop. Had to get a new slide guard for my wife's bowtech and had em look at my Hoyt. I need new strings soon getting a little string creep and my peep is starting to turn a little. D*mn though they want $150 all said and done for new strings. It's fine for now but if it keeps turning I'm gonna have to get it done. I looked at the all the mechanicals and had the swackers in my hand but put em back. I did buy a set of lighted nocks and some glue to fletch some arrows. Never used them before.

This is what I think an extended black (E) crossed with gray (Silver) looks like. Biggest difference between this and birchen is shoulder color. Extended black codes for black shoulders despite silver gene.

There's just a few of my game roosters (my dad has always like to have them around). The orange one is a pumpkin hatch mix and he is my favorite. He stays running loose in the yard with my silkies and doesn't bother them at all! He is so sweet and gentle! The other two are my big kelso roosters the one on the ground I call Joe Dirt because he's ALWAYS rolling and digging in the dirt lol! We have hatch, leaper, Harold brown grays, butcher, kelso, black gold, etc. Also all the hens you could ask for! Lol
