I do bait no lying bout that but that doesnt mean im guaranteed a shooter. Ive never road hunted.

Nor paid to go on a hunt.

I would pay to hunt if I could afford it. Alot would depend on the circumstances though.
A lot of the so called "ranches" is the same as fishing for stocked fish in my book.

@doubleleft i agree your knowledge is very welcome all of us could learn our fair share from your hard work over many decade's you have worked with games so please share whatever you feel like im sure it will be much appreciated to learn from you and just to hear stories.

I like to figure it out myself. Scouting, hanging stands, stalking etc.. it don't always go so well but that's how it goes sometimes.
I can't even watch them hunting shows. I know it's not all but most of them are such BS. It's pathetic.

I agree 100% the shoting fish in a barrel is not hunting but if i was better off id too would pay to go on a awesome hunt on opening fields and hills not a breed program type hunt.

Moose or elk would be great my father inlaw gets taken by his boss every year for mule or elk im hoping one day he will offer me a chance to go lol.

I like some of the hunting shows but the ones where they are in a 5k+ hunting house with heat and everything else i think is crap my hunting house is 2x4 and usb board with a portable propane heater for real cold days as i wont stop hunting till my tags or the season is up and by that time its seriously cold!

I've seen plenty of black bears, moose (Maine) mule deer in Idaho and some goats (at a distance) all while I've been fishing. Never hunting. I would like to go caribou hunting and javelina. One of these days. Lol. Come hell or high water I'll take my son on numerous hunting trips. When fishing once in Maine. Came up on a big bull and cow 30 yds from our tent. Had him on my back. He was about 1 yr old. Didn't even see them. Lol

I wish i had a boy but have girls ima try my best to get them out in the woods with me at the moment they are all for it but you know how that goes once they get older.

Gotta love em though. It's pretty comical. All high fives afterwards. They didn't place the stands or scout. They showed up and proved they could shoot a gun. Whoopty d*mn do!

Ive never got as excited as they do on them shows i mean sometimes its a bit of a rush but not jumping up cussing fussing hooping hollering etc just looks dumb to me.
