Picture of the original pairYou are most welcome. I remember you saying the Bates were not for everyone, but fine fowl.
I only know the Typewriters in name, but were the originals spangled and pea combed? I guess I would not have expected that.
Thank you doubleleft, I'm glad I sent you a message almost 2yrs ago, I've enjoyed reading your posts, your pictures, and messages. Occasionally I send you a message just so I know you're ok. I know if you would let sdm or me help you raise some of your fowl and God forbid if something happens to your pens I would personally bring your brood-fowl back and if there's enough time to raise a few I would send you some young stags and pullets back. I'd love to see the Marion and Griffin bloodlines have a strong comeback. I wish you the best buddy I always have.[/QUOTE
Thank you Flypen, You certainly will get some of both, I've written your name down for them. Not many people realize the quality birds without flashy names or have never been spotlighted by the big shows/or breeders, but i know for a fact this same blood is winning there and anywhere else(with select breeding//taking advantage of hybrid breeding(maybe not exactly hybrid) but the crossing of 2 to 3 lines of birds, always with female as choice of style under male of another line for the desired effect.
ThankYou and i hope You and your birds are above water

Again thank you your work and passion is highly appreciated.
If I lived closer, I would work real cheap just to hear all the knowledge you must have!
