I like to give dewormer on a piece of bread. You can put the right amount on it, and the birds gobble it down.

Valbazen in the water seems to work well to in my experiment. 3cc per gallon and no worm issue that I noticed. Not sure if I am being a moron and creating super worms or not, but it worked for me.
I use pills. Pretty easy to get em down the throats once you get the hang of it.

@sdm111 looks like I would need a Wma stamp ($15) and then a non resident deer license ($36) per day to be able to bowhunt hogs on the refuge or any wma. That sound about right?

Speaking of losing mentors, my friend could use any positive thoughts any are willing to send his way... he's 3rd gen game breeder and is losing his fight to pancreatic cancer quite suddenly... he's the reason I came here for advice, he taught me a lot but can't anymore...

I don't expect y'all to know him, but a better man I have never met, just deserves any thoughts or prayers any are willing to send his direction... thank you...

I don't think you need the WMA cause it's not a WMA is a federal reserve not state. I've never had one all you need is the "permit" you can print if you get to big branch national wildlife refuge website. There you will find the hunting regulations print it, sign the permit and you're good to go. But I could be wrong
