Put it this way, a Doe has her fawn or fawns lay down and hide while she goes about feeding, meanwhile a sound of hogs come through passing by the fawn and then sometimes when the fawn is caught the hogs start fighting over it. They all want a steak dinner so the fawn gets ripped to pieces before it's heart stops beating. I do not pass a chance to KILL every hog, pig, or piglet I see.

I don't live whr the is free bacon (its still 110 out here in phx Az) but I sure do love me some bacon!!

Hey a little off topic of them hoggs but what do u guys feed ur game fowl? That rooster my husband got as a gift way out on a lot of land and free ranged dude just feed cracked corn to the loose birds. He had others in boxes and looked like he feed them some scratch. I have my game rooster in with lay hens, he was really scroney when we got him. He's got a lot of muscle now. But this molt has been going on for months. He finally got his pin feathers on his tail and yesterday I knoticed some are missing already. I currently feed layer 16% and make a mash on Sundays with sunflower oatmeal flax and corn...they love Sundays lol. But I don't know if this is enough. When I was in Colorado I just feed scratch and never had problems. But in Az everyone said not to use it and feed layer. I feel like they need more protein and I it looks like the rooster is picking out his new pin feathers! I have also seen some of the hens eat loose feathers but haven't seen anyone pick at each other? So what do u guys feed. I'm ready for a change!

It's been along time but as I recall trying to cook an uncastrated sexually mature wild boar hog will run u out the house in under 15min. Ever smelled one if them disgusting azz things? In the woods u can smell them a Mile away. We killed a sow one time and it looked like a smelly pile of mud in the truck. Sorry them things are nasty.
Anyway.....like to kill one

I feed mine lay pellets.they all get pellets
