Unfortunate. Hotwire stops them most of the time, but not always. I am going to use fencing like used for sheep and goats next year and boarder it with hotwire. My dogs take hits from wire when after something giving a good yelp but they usually stay on mission. I also no the game of being set back a year with line breeding, or having it terminate a generate short of objective because of such.

Yes sir, I saved several pullets. What's the odds? I just put him on a tie cord last night. Good thing is I can make more, just have to do it all over again. On another subject, a friend of mine that started me in gamefowl came over to visit yesterday. We had a great time talking about the old days. He got out of the gamefowl world in 2008 and has been raising Coon dogs, he's raised several Grand Night Champions and Grand Show Champions. The Butchers were my first to own and this man and John Sears gifted them to me. I also got the original Typewriters from him, we had a good time. I showed him my new Typewriters and went over a breeding program to get them coming back the way they should be. Lol stuff I already knew but you don't try to tell a old time cocker the way, you just have to listen and hope you catch something new.

I know where they went to, one of them will never be back. I'm going to set back and wait. I have a German Shepard but she's put up for a couple weeks, I don't need any mixed puppies. She's the reason I went out to check on things

Im guessing the others were males either way the folks need to have a keep on em.

I have a pit and some ladies dog got attacked up in my in-laws holler and tried to blame it on us were 15min away and my dogs put up inside the house in a crate if we go out or stays in my truck cause I know how people are. Anyway I went off etc etc turns out my father in-laws cousin got a black pit and was letting it run lose. My boy wouldn't hurt a fly our chawennie puts him in his place he would protect us if we needed it though but Not go looking for trouble nor do I give him the chance.
