Either of these two look like stags to any y'all? Pumpkins I was leaning toward the darker orange one hoping to have one to breed back to the above hulsey/gilmore ones.

Nice camera by the way. I have a 35mm canon rebel somewhere around here. Bought it Korea, came out with all the fancy digital cameras not long after. I need to get a good, small rugged waterproof digital camera one of these days.

seems like a lot of plastic. Birds need ventilation. Warm stagnant air is bad for their pen floor and their respiratory system. I'd leave at least about 18" along the bottom open

I concur. They won't be any better in winter either because the moisture will have a harder time escaping. Might have more issues with frostbite on combs and wattles.

I gotta build some better ones as soon as I can. Ima divide this kennel for two sets here soon enough and do the pens afterwards.

And that would be my luck when wanting a stag the darker one has a larger darker comb id guess these guys are 7wks or so at the moment.

That a bit better fellas? I know it's still a bit much on the sides. He's molting bad still yet so I gave em some fat cuts of deer were bout to cook up. He's going to town on that got fat all over his beak.

You guys have any gamefowl books you'd suggest? Not that you fellas ain't helpful because ya are very much appreciate it too.
