In Louisiana child support if figured by a table. You make this with this many kids you pay this. None of that milking you for everything b.s. and honestly if she's like you say she'll try she's used to a certain lifestyle that will be no more. For the record I was not married I was engaged living together.
Never married either. She is technically my fiance/baby mama. California doesnt have common law, so that doesnt apply. Lawyer said all of the financials are civil matter because we arent married..., except the family courts do child custody (if it comes up).

she makes more money than I do, and the house is in her name only (I know I am idiot) but we both pay for it out of joint checking... so she trying to take all of the equity (150-200k) from house for herself. Only giving me a enough to pay the debt she accrued in my name (20k).

Nope your a genius. Cut your losses and move on. Easier said than done I know. Not much risk on your end. Your a winner and she’ll fuk everything up in no time.

If she get primary residency of child, then I would not sweat the equity as that likely to benefit kid later. Otherwise that is cost of doing business as she is one with all risk with it in her name. The dept accrued in your name you need to get reimbursed for.
