Congrats man. Nice cold weather should have em moving more around here too. Saw 5-6 deer crossing the road as i pulled in the driveway. Try to get out in the morning. Hoping to see that buck again.

I was out this morning saw nothing watched this one eat for ten min hoping to see a buck no dice. My phone died so no light luckily I found her in briers down a bank had to drag her out then down the hill and on to the truck in which I slipped an pulled my back but worth it lol god blessed me with meat I won't complain to much.

Y'all have anything against using saw dust in pens? Some say not to with the cedar chips and what not I'm just asking cause my wife's dad has a sawmill.

Shavings maybe, I don't think I would put the fine stuff in my pens. That's just me everyone has their own ways.

Try it you might have good luck with it, here in all the rain, wet weather it'll be mashed down muddy crap you have to rake out of the pens and the grass will definitely not be growing in the area the pen was when you move them to fresh grass.
