Got home from work a little later than I would have liked. Took my climbing stand out for a quick 1.5 hr sit. 3 squirrels and a bunch of little birds. Gonna try to duck hunt tomorrow. I normally would be running traps by now but I don’t think I’m gonna do much trapping this year. Maybe a few beaver/otter and some mink after Christmas.

Ima just hunt at a closer spot and go for meat heck with it. Unless one good buck pops up doesn't seem to be the year for old bucks this season.

I hear ya. Does taste better anyway so it’s no big deal. I haven’t seen much last few times out. The way it goes sometimes.
