Decided to wait till wensday to try out the blind to give em more time.
Yup corn was untouched. But I did jump a bunch of turkeys on the way in. Didn’t even hunt. Might try it tomorrow evening. Well see.

Better yet don’t get any roosters if your not allowed to have them. I see you live in NJ that’s why I’m telling you not to bother if your not allowed.
You’re right I am going to hold off on getting an American Gamefowl rooster. I have already had to rehome 2 roosters and I find it very hard as I get very attached to them. Thank you all for the great information. Can you recommend any books on AGF?

So dub'n a massive straight comb was a lot more intense than a pea comb lots of blood. Scissors did a fine job I got from TSC we shall see if it needs gone over later down the road.

To the fella asking about games start with a pair and go from there. I have bought some of my birds but I tried to find the best I could I've paid anywhere from $150-250 for cocks and up to $60 for a pullet but have also bartered for a lot. I'm right there with what sdm and havoc has said. These fellas won't lead ya wrong sdm, havoc, doubleleft, and flypen have helped me a ton and it wasn't always with An attitude of lollipops and puppies.

I wouldn't do him again. It wasn't on him but that's just me.
Get a bucket of water and dunk their head after dubbing. The cold water will help bleeding

When I do them I just dump a handful of DE on their heads. It’s clots fast and keeps any bugs off. Too cold to mess with water by the time I get around to doing them.
