It'd be a lot easier to focus on less than more. And I'd be keeping the kelso and Warhorse and getting rid of the Hulseys and Hatches I'd rather get rid of the Hulseys I just want to cut down and have room for off spring.

True... but you'll need genetic diversity... I think you'll regret if you got rid of them.

I think you might enjoy keeping a closed flock... breeding what you have into eachtoher in varying degrees... 1/8 warhorse, 1/4 Kelso, 1/2 Spangled and stuff like that ... I think its fun way to compare them to eachother... keep the focus on creating your own breed with what you have... thats what I say.
 
Despite my new temporary house being smaller, its actually super secure and no chickens dying...

its a really good feeling knowing that they will be ok when I get home

Crosses over crosses... Havoc knows now. Less consistent but I think you gain way more in vigor and utility.

You can create anything.. Black Kelsos, Spangled Warhorses, Pumpkin SFH
