This is hen is almost 4 yrs old. Been just hanging out in the shed for the past 5 days. No desire to leave

That sting's when your hands are already half frozen!
Yeah plus two days ago I was splitting a piece of wood with a knot in it. The piece split but somehow flipped back and smacked me in the same hand. It was already sore before he decided to drill me. Could have left his ungrateful *ss in the snow instead of high and dry. Lol
 
Texicano and Havoc, I have enjoyed the pics of your grey hens! They have a nice powder grey look to their feathering. I mention it because I was able to get a miniature grey hen this fall and she has a very "coarse" grey pattern. Anyway, I hope to have some blue greys in the spring!

What do you mean by coarse?
My chocolate grey hen is all grey on the body and white on the neck.

I should get a pic... By coarse she has more black and dark grey as opposed to the white and smokey light grey, if that makes sense?
