Hey on my kelsos pen I put some of the welded wire I used for domes and used fencing staples every 8-10inches over top of whatever mesh that was will that do?

I've had animals kill through welded wire so I would have to say no I wouldn't trust that.

Sounds good! The two combined should help. Just watch it to make sure something doesn't start working on it.

Shouldn't be able to get to pull the mesh out due to the welded wire and staples over top should they? I mean I'm asking if need be it can be temporary until I get a roll of hardware.

picture of day I moved them when the WH got killed and before kelso hen, but the welded wire covers the whole window with bout 2in over lap.

I just got to stick with what has worked for me which is hardware cloth. I don't have hardware cloth on all my domes but I also have an electric fence

I plan on getting some here soon as I've also got to put a small window on the nesting area side and my few domes I have figured I was doing atleast some good with the welded wire over top lol.

I would use more staples. Every other wire not 8-10 inches.
