I remember one day a couple years ago I had the flu I guess. I was out feeding and watering birds. I had to kneel down after every 3rd pen so I didn’t pass out. Pretty sure I heard a Ruble cock whisper to his hen that somebody should cull his weak *ss. So I soldiered on. May have been hearing things though or it could have been the whiskey.

I guess I'm trying to catch lightning.
I know of a lot of breeders that set up their pens the same way, when they found two families that made good stags (battlefowl) they bred for numbers and selected the best from it. It is a fact that you can select the best from more choices to choose from. But! Their broodfowl were not bred in the same manner, broodfowl should always be selected from single mated pens.

My Radios are hardest to handle although these 2 New broodstags are very easy to pick up and handle.

The Hatch line is the easiest to handle, even the pullets and hens.

The Gradios came out just like the radios in terms of difficulty to handle.
I've been meaning to ask, what is a Gradios? I know what a Radio is but been seeing Gradios lately and thought it was a mis-spelled word

The flu progressed to pneumonia, I go back to the doctor tomorrow. I definitely got my butt kicked over this crap.

Hope you feel better soon. I have not even had a cold in many-many years thank the lord. But with all that's wrong with me it's a blessing not to have that also.
Wishing you a fast recovery Flypen!!
