That dang Typewriter cock I posted is a mean sob, the guy I got him from fought him 3 times as a stag and he was molting. They couldn't kill him or run him off, but when he was in his 3rd he got coupled and still won. If you look at him in that picture you can tell his legs are farther apart than normal, all I needed him to do is be able to top a hen. He hates people period, once I get him in my hands he's ok, but until then you enter at your own risk.
I have a penny in with two hens and he won’t let you in his pen. I take him off the roost at night no problem. On a cord he’s totally fine. I can scoop him up in one hand no problem. He don’t want me getting too close to his hens. Guess I can’t blame him. Actually I haven’t tried in awhile. Maybe I’ll give it a shot in a day or so. Lol

Flypen im sorry - I got my left and right pictures mixed up. The yellow leg is the hatch and the other one the kelso. My bad - I had a blonde moment. That Typewriter is really special! I know you're proud of him! I didn't intend to do this, but I have gotten attached to all my chickens. Most of them have names - that Kelso's name is Boomer.

Lol the yellow leg should be the Kelso, and the other one the hatch

Kelso type fowl should be white and yellow legged. You can really tell a kelso type bird by the way he performs.... well a good one anyhow.
specifically white kelso not all kelso. Normal kelso are red. Can be pearl leg too. Clarifying that cause there's a whole bunch of bad info past few pages
