Yep I gots trees... lots of them.. Cottonwoods, Pines, Willows, Oaks
Supposedly a 500+ year old oak tree..

Coyotes were crazy last night... I swear they were inside the property... I went out around 1am and chased them off with my boy dog.

You can hear animals walking through the creek. I was on edge

Shubin, invest in a 100 mile range $150-$200-and on up, put up a 5-6 strand fence around property and/or good chicken protection dogs.
I bought a refurbished 100 mile box for $50 from my friend that works at the co-op, he actually refurbishes them

Only game cocks I have are spangled McLean green leg and two white kelso white leg and yellow.

And thanks I plan to have a decent size chicken yard I'll have the room forsure, and plan to run an electric fence as soon as I can. Right now I'm just finishing up the house itself we got sink cabinets built already, got the floor done besides the tile in living room, got the plumbing done, most of the painting done still lack a few odds and ends. Moving the birds will come last thankfully I have a few areas for broods already in place there as well. It needed work and still does but I just keep picturing my own birds right outside my own door.

I haven't asked a sufficiently dumb question in a while, so here's mine. Do you breed for a specific colour pattern, or just take whatever jumps out of the egg as long as it's game?
