Sqeashy is an issue when pressed for time raising animals at two locations separated by 10 miles. It is hard on your shoes and does not make wife happy.
maybe re-evaluate your animal numbers if it’s a problem and 10.00 muck boots would keep your wife and your shoes happy

You are full of shit. I do most of the animal related for a living. Scale sufficient to warrant streamlining process to do a better job. It is not a situation where one can tolerate losing everything and having to start over from scratch every few years.

You seem very unstable centra you’ve been like that. You immediately think everyone knows what you are specifically talking about while being rather vague. You talk down to people like they are children. Like when people ask questions to learn and you drill them like they should know. That’s why they are here.

Good Morning Guys...

Well not wet today here just been cold as heck. My organizing dejunking the house continues. Yesterday conquered the medical supplies, that was an all day thing. Need to order some replacement stuff for both emergency bags... someone broke the BP cuff, I suspect the FFA folks who used it last... they should have been cool and told us oh well kits both need a few things. Those kits are for out in the Nowhere where even cell phones & cb can’t work. I went through all the stuff and now orginizied, old meds tossed and big exp dates written on everything, shoping list for replacement made too.

Got to get cracking on more organizing... and digging out tackle. OMG the state of CA has managed to make fishing Way confusing and complex... I think after reading just some of the rules I will be using all nonbarb hooks as it is crazy that on the river we plan to go fishing on this section nonbarb, that section barb oka, then non barb again, then barabed over here. I will have to measure hooks I already got as well. There are other weird rules too. I do not remember it being so darn complicated last time I fished... found out I can bow fish though, which was a surprise, as I have never seen anyone do that ever in CA. I guess trout are in season on the river, and based on what I could figure out a bunch of fish like craw, catfish, carp and lamprey are year round. I think I figured out the live bait rules... though I want to try an African fishing trick on the catfish and I didn’t find a rule against that. Probably will be March Vacation we go fishing but if I can get everything set before maybe sooner. Need the proper legal net for gathering live bait... though crawdads I know how to catch by hand.

Baby chicks are doing well. Hubby started hand feeding them. He will soon be chicken crazy I predict muwahhaha.

Peace Out

Most heavily pressured trout streams have a lot of regulations. Using barbless hooks increases the likelihood of survival for released fish. The rules have a reason.

I figure there is some reason... but what is baffling is patchworking the river. If we were talking the different forks that would make sense, but on same river alternating it is beyond logic... I get upping survival of the wild trout using non barbed hooks so if the wild trout can occur any where on the river it is illogical to patch work it. (Wild ones must be released). At any rate to keep it simple I am going to go all barbless or only fish in the areas barbs are okay sections. I will take a look at the map, but I am pretty familiar with this river, I was raised on it, so I am pretty confident I know the zones. I am planing on doing bank fishing to start with. I found only one box with a couple lures and massive weights... I have no clue what happened to the other box... My granddad’s poles I will need hubby to help get at, looking at where they are I don’t want to move hubby’s things alone in the garage. The Ugly Stick I cleaned up and it looks good it’s a good pole and has a good reel.
