No I don’t fish the Mississippi. For me it’s salt or the bayous that flow into it
But I’m a Louisianan I would eat fish out of it. Prolly have a good taste with all that seasoning. Prolly already ate tons so far so good. Or at least I think so lol

Just stick with the biggest, fattest fish. They have the most seasoning in em. Extra fins, eyeballs etc.. the more the merrier.
 
Hang in there havoc, hopefully we will have some spring weather here soon. Sdm, buddy it is coming to New Orleans. My buddies hunting camp is a half million dollar home and he's on his knees praying it doesn't come up another 18". You can drive a 4wheel drive truck under it, I want to say it's 15' high built on steel beams. He's still going to loose everything that was underneath the house, everything that had wheels was moved to the levee. The Red river will crest Sunday. Today is the first day I've seen the sunshine all day in several weeks.

Still windy and still snowing.
Think its gonna be a chicken noodle soup kinda night. Maybe I can get some homemade cookies going around here too.

with water can’t do much except that. I was by the river today and the levee district police were riding on top surveying.
