Second hen to go broody. Hen has nine eggs of her own, I added six American Dominique eggs (darker). Another hen real close as not letting cock cover her.

Daughter sort of helping. Big cleanup underway. Sun will be getting intense soon so will be putting on better covers that will blow off once winds exceed about 40 mph. Then pens can be stable even as wind approach 70 mph based on experiment on a trailer.

Best thing is to wet sand and clear em that is if a body has access to such. It will out last any of the polish/buffing stuff out there.

Start with some 600/800 grit work your way up to 3000 with wet paper either by hand or a da (they make hook it wet sanding paper for DA's with Velcro/hook it pads ) Mask off any plastic or rubber you wouldn't won't over spray on and clear coat. I usually do three coats of average clear nothing expensive or special something like nason or kamo clear etc etc (that kamo is half decent for 60ish a gallon little dryback) first and second coat heavily reduced last coat like expressed on can mix ratio go with a medium reducer. Results last quite some time but unless you have the stuff to do it laying around it may or may not cost you more than new headlights depends on the vehicle.

A lot of used car dealers go this route as they are cheap'os I dealt with a few for like two months as they wanted it fast, cheap and good and I wouldn't do anymore cause paints more than they usually wanna pay for that will match or so so match let alone my time. One time I did a roll over Tacoma full color change and a dumb Ranger step side bed on the truck cause he was to cheap to get a yota bed, I found him one for $500. The fiberglass danger ranger bed on that truck well it was different I'll say that and when I told him 2k after said and done he paid me and I told him we wouldn't be doing business again. Took more time to fabricate that pos bed to that truck than he would have had in a regular bed for the truck.

He probably had less than a grand in the truck when he bought it and asked 10k once done.

No, we have a lot of county roads that are designed to routinely get underwater when it rains heavy. Gauge to right of second image registers four higher than water was at time of photograph. It has gotten that high before. Along 5 mile stretch to fish farm my boy and I were visiting, we had to forge four crossings. We saw a lot of turkeys and deer having similar issues.

We do have a lot of sinkholes but they are mostly at higher elevations.

New headlights seem like a better option for most and do them both at the same time. Pretty damn annoying to have cars coming at you with one bright light and one dim with the new light aimed too high.

Then again a lot can't even change a bulb let alone replace a headlight and aim it properly.
