basically just wipe on in circular motions till it starts squeaking then buff off with rags. Basically a cutter (prolly powdered glass and a liquid wax type medium) all you're doing is water sanding it basically same concept as sohc said except his way will yield better results. His way will last longer too cause he's sealing it with clear. This is just a cheap less time and material consuming quick fix but it only lasts a few months cause it's not sealed. Kinda you get what you pay for thing. I don't have the means or time to do it the lasting way (sohc way) but it's good enough for me. It would be more feasible for me to buy new ones off eBayIs that just a plastic polish to clear them up?
I have to do all 3 of our vehicles so I'm used to it some apparently have better more sun resistant plastic than others
