I have about half dozen packages of OTC that will be used only for emergencies.

I had same until the fire...... about two months ago I found a bottle of injectible Oxytetracycline sitting around on one of the back shelves of my local feed store that had been pushed back and overlooked for some time. I grabbed it up very fast, expiration dates not a problem as long as a product is kept at normal temps(Fed. Gov requires these expire dates)

My friend Brandon also uses Corid, he says it works good.
I use a soluble powder Oxytetracycline(heavy dose) in their water for 3 -9 days, just according to what see with the birds.
I use Oxytetracycline cause it covers a lot more problems that might be underlying coccidia or kicked into the domino effect from coccidia.
I can't get that here anymore.
As a matter of fact I bought the last bag of powdered corrid, and the cashier told me that would be the last bag she ever sells.

What amazes me is the grey that at least 90% of our greys today are related to (The Madigan Gray) came out of the Madigan Claret.
And the majority of our old red lines used today had gray blood bred into them and it never shows.
I know a cocker here in San Antonio that claims he has a pure Madigan Grey. I went to his yard one day and saw the bird and let me tell you if he wasn't one impressive bird, I don't know what is, even in his obvious old age.

So you're telling us most grey bloodlines originate from there? Wow
