WAIT!! Man I can help I don't know if it matters but when my boss goes turkey hunting I am pretty sure he puts the decoys OUTSIDE of the blind. Have you tried that. Maybe I'm wrong

lol. I’m just setting up for next week. The damn blind smelled like China. Although I could use all the help I can get. I’m not such a good turkey hunter. That being said I was always using a bow and they’d see me move.

I don't see my boss wed-sun just mom and tues through turkey season so far he's killed 4. 2 shotgun one bow and one crossbow. One double beard he was pretty excited about that one lol

Over the years it’s always been fishing or turkey hunting and I’ve almost always chose fishing.
I’ve had as many as 70 turkeys in my yard at once. I go to actually hunt em and they turn into ghosts.
A couple years ago during turkey season I had a big old gobbler walk within 20yds of me while feeding the birds.

The main reason is we have to get permits for specific weeks (mon-fri) or a Saturday season which is 4 Saturday’s. Hunting hrs are half hour before sunrise til noon.
Now the last 2 weeks and the last Saturday is all day. They’ve been slow to fix our seasons here.
