how small would you say a miniature american stag would have to be(weight) before it's considered a miniature?

They are all over the place. from mid 2# to high 3#, but from what I gather most aim for cock birds close to 3#. It seems to be a happy medium to keep the body confirmation and performance.

I can't imagine jumping out of a plane! A friend of mine used to teach skydiving and offered to take me up. Just couldn't bring myself to do that, so my hat is off to you!

I work right next door to a skydiving airstrip/field... way too ambulance visits.. one reported death so far since the 1.5 years I've worked here.

I’m depressed. I called in multiple gobblers. One came strutting to right at 50 yds I’d say. That was that. God I suck! Obviously they’ve been shot at over decoys in the past. All happened just like on tv except my hunt ended when they go to commercial break for the latest and greatest gizmo. Damn! 50 yds is just too far.

But they're definitiely not white pearl or yellow. It's a nice bird, but I prefer the station and colors on Hector better. Gloria and Maria's father and brothers were all well feathered around the cape. I'm sure Hector will fill out more after his first molt. His kids are well mannered and very athletic so far.
