Never in my life have I had such a mean chick. He’s in timeout.

The hen I had hatching him quit on him. He didn’t care. I helped him a little since he was getting dried out. Started bleeding pretty good. He popped out ready to rumble anyway. Strong as an ox. I can barely hold him. He runs from hand to hand like a damn hamster.

I have a challenge for you guys that is in response to needs of my brother. A picture is needed showing a bunch of stags approaching age to be penned in a large green grassy area walking as a polarized flock. Havoc has a leg up on this from what I have seen. My wife is an obstacle here because only good place to take picture here is deemed off limits for my free-range birds. She is not home all the time!

I have what are called little Edgar's that will take on chicks / juveniles 4 times their weight and hold their own for close to 5 minutes.
Well I'll be darned, didn't know chicks come super aggro like that. Then again mine are all caged together shortly after birth and stay together until they're are penned up.

Well I have the penned stags and the grass, getting that specific motion is the challenge. I'll try it out tommorrow.

They're way bigger now than they are in that picture. Funny How they change so much in a span of 2 or 3 weeks. That hatch stag in the back is throwing some real nice colors right now.
