Well I'll be darned, didn't know chicks come super aggro like that. Then again mine are all caged together shortly after birth and stay together until they're are penned up.

I have had them do it running free to so does not require penning, but penning makes it worse.

Your stuff is way ahead of mine. My stags are a good 60 days behind yours and are generally slow to mature to boot.

Don't get me wrong, I do get a few bullies from time to time, but a little handling and attention calms that behavior, for my birds anyways.

They're all penned together, but I'm culling most of the cross pullets at the first sign of gender.

Can't quite do that since the Grey is with his ladies. The enclosure with all the youngins makes an L around the Gradio Pen. And I don't trust putting a stag in with the month olds

The yard does not actually need to be pretty, but those birds sure look good. Did you whistle to get them all to look up like that?
