Hey guys I have a friend whose dog got bit by a rattlesnake. Y'all know any backwoods homemade remedies?

Same as treatment for Copperhead bit we just had. Benadryl to control allergic reaction. Keep dog cool with lots of water. Also keep dog quite. Watch for necrosis.

We had hounds get bit pretty often during summer when training pups on raccoons. Never lost a dog, but scored many sick days.
