Ones in excellent condition an low mileage still exist just saying lol. Bout 4 years ago I worked on an 88 that was spotless and had only 28k on the clock real nice truck.
I’m just not a car/truck kinda guy. It was cool when I was in high school but after that I lost interest. I don’t mind doing my own maintenance but I’m not a tinkerer. If it ain’t broke I ain’t trying to fix it. Simple as that. I like doing things for recreation that I take part in 100%. Most of what your doing you still need someone else to to help you. Electronics equipment, lifts etc. I just don’t have enough interest or money for that matter.

Different strokes for different folks.

Nah not most not even close. I did have to have the stall converter put in due to not having a lift simple easy 6hour job but the rest of transmission and engine work was done here at the house or I done it at my old buddy daves shop. Tune is a must regardless and the equipment to do just a street tune is thousands not including a shop with a dyno talking massive money there. I'll pay for the tune lol.

I learned that Havoc might as well be driving a minivan in that underpowered taco of his lol
What time is soccer practice sweetie?

I’m 10 years older than you and I bet you couldn’t keep up with me if
I had one leg. I bet you couldn’t walk from one end of a soccer field to the other with out being winded softie.

Is it common for some of
You guys to lose birds in the heat? I know there is quite a few of us on here where the humidity is way worse than California and Texas.
It don’t get quite as hot but all last week here if felt like 110 with the humidity. Very damn hot.

A heat index above 105 gets a little rough on the birds. The best thing is shade and water. If you know it is going to be an issue, you can pull feed away from the birds until later in the evening. A little hunger is better than heat stress or dead birds.

I wet ground a little in early AM and try to make so wind can move horizontally through pens. Air flow helps them dump heat coming from under extended wings. Airflow also helps take away humidity released from wetted ground helping with cooling where birds stand. Older birds like to get up on roost and face into wind while in shade.
