There’s more Mexican people where you live. Simple demographics.I have worked with Chinese manufacturing a lot. Many of my designs I send out to them, and they aren't bad. They have a lot to offer, they are eager and willing to make stuff happen with quick turn around time. Its like they are waiting around for new work..
Its hard to find Casting or injection molding companies in the US that are willing to take on work (especially low volume). Most are at capacity or contract for a specific corporations. And the cost is way higher here in the US and takes longer.
Manufacturing here in US (California especially) is done by Mexicans anyways, so it doesnt matter if we send it out to Mexico. 90% or more of my co-workers Hispanic. And the Chinese are humans too. I dont fall for nationalistic fervor
They do learn and take from our designs... and have less standards for quality. But that is up to the company who is buying from them to check. We would reject several parts and it wasnt a big deal. We'd just send them back and not pay from the crap. They'd send better quality the next time so they wouldnt get as many rejects...There’s more Mexican people where you live. Simple demographics.
Not all but a lot of Chinese manufacturing just involves cloning not just American but other countries goods with cheaper materials, less quality control etc.. Doesn’t have a lot to do with being nationalistic. Simple quality rules the day for many people.
that I agree with... They do steal... but so do we. R&D which we call the "Rip-off & Duplicate"Learn and take = copy. Sit back see what sells then make an identical replica with sh*t materials. The playing field isnt level. Offshore companies don’t have a fraction of the rules and regulations to follow. Especially environmental. Which allows them to ship out inferior clones of quality made products elsewhere. All while destroying the very place they live. All to make a buck.
I agree but the companies need to make those decisions on whether to grow or continue to stay around the same size/revenue. Most people don’t really care what the buy other than reasonable quality and price. There’s tons of American companies out there that portray a mom and pop or at least small format. In reality they one of 25 companies owned by a parent conglomerate. It’s always buyer beware but many people don’t care either way if it doesn’t directly affect them right now. These same people have a hard time making the connection down the road though. In the end if I can afford it I don’t mind paying a few extra bucks to buy from a smaller private company.that I agree with... They do steal... but so do we. R&D which we call the "Rip-off & Duplicate"
And they do destroy environment for the sake of profit... but so do we. They might be worse... but I'm guessing not always.
I believe in simple Agrarian lifestyle... I do not support unstoppable economic growth regardless of who is doing it.
