Shooting a police dog is a little different. At that point they are trying to arrest someone. That’s a no brainer. What's really messed up with this is if someone shoots and kills a police dog they are charged with killing a police officer but if a cop trespasses on somones property with no trespassing signs and fences and the whole 9 and shoots that person's dog then there fearfull of there life and just doing there job
Arresting the meth head costs them money. Ticketing adults who drive like a teenager is a great revenue source.I know right they don't even like big smokie burnouts. Rather pull someone over for putting the loud pedal down and call in two more cars for a traffic offense than deal with the meth head selling to someone on the next corner.
It's no exception one dog is the same as another be it police or civilian dog. And that's a perfect example of how when they do something wrong it gets swept under the rug but when a cop in civilian clothes gets shot or hurt it's the end of the worldShooting a police dog is a little different. At that point they are trying to arrest someone. That’s a no brainer.
There was a story awhile back in Minnesota I believe where two teenage girls accidentally set off their home alarm system. Cops showed up went around back trying to be John J Rambo and shot two dogs out of fear. The family posted the surveillance video of the dogs approaching the officer wagging their tails and he smoked em in the face. I think they lived but allowing that to happen is ridiculous. I don’t know what ever happened with the story.
Somebody dialed 911 in the middle of the night a few years ago not too far from where I live. Well guess what they pinged off the cell tower went to the wrong house and a 73 yr old man thought someone was breaking in to his house. He shot at them and the cops shot back. He was wounded but survived. That got swept under the rug real quick.
They go to the wrong houses all the time and end up killing someone else. It happens far more often than even makes the news.
And what's sad is they do undercover buys and know it's going on but say to us the public we are trying to go up the chain. Well if u start taking links out of the chain from the get go then eventually they would move up the chain by having the others already in jail out of the wayI know right they don't even like big smokie burnouts. Rather pull someone over for putting the loud pedal down and call in two more cars for a traffic offense than deal with the meth head selling to someone on the next corner.
