He looks nice from the side. Tail to the side is a new one for me. Not saying I don't believe it, just haven't heard it. Anyone else? I had a stag like that a couple of years ago. It just came up that way, so I culled him.
I had a couple grow with their tail to the side I was told it was from tight inbreeding they got culled

Yeah I think all that kinda stuff is genetic from breeding. Same goes for vitamin deficiency type stuff too. Just because you can correct it doesn’t mean you should. Well I should say you shouldn’t breed any bird that has even the slightest issues.

Thats the thing, he's the only one, cant be inbreeding because he's a Radio Hatch cross. His tail wasn't sagging a mere week ago.

Just keep an eye on him if he looks good, acts good, shows good, and is just an ace in your eye breed and keep on stroking. If not it's a easy fix and you stand to loose more from culling him if he is from good lines

That is what happened to the one I had. It was a rather quick transition and a stag I really liked. I don't recall him losing weight, but the tail did not not correct. Maybe I culled a stag that just needed wormed...

I would cull him too. Especially if he was the only bird that was showing signs. I treat all birds the same so if I have 10 birds and one is slower to grow, seems a tad weaker, etc than the rest he’s gone. Simple as that.

Wry neck is another thing that may or may not be a vitamin deficiency. I’ve ony had a few and they were leiper pullets but I cull them too.
