My red quill the line I have that works for me I bred a full rooster to a 1/2 and 1/2 red quill, Secret. Then bred straight full back two seasons. The mom with the 6biddies is my line. The dad is the full red quill I acquired 3yrs ago. Works great for me. Now I have a light side of full red quill 2stags 4pullets to blend with my line. They came from a friend of a friend in nc.
