I’m no expert. I’ve learned from guys on here, other forums, books, magazines etc... I have made plenty of mistakes. Through laziness, stupidity or whatever. The only difference is I have had a lot of subjects to test on lol. If something don’t work out the right way well I’ll try to do better on the next one. Lol
There is still plenty that I have to learn believe me.
I agree, I just hope I don't make any more big mistakes

The biggest time for fowl pox where I live is aug - oct usually. Temps here that range between 70-40 would be right in the middle of that time frame. I suppose it might depend on what your plans are for the bird to be dubbed.
70 degrees and you still have plenty of mosquitoes around.
Birds heal just fine in the cold.
I usually dub them when it’s 40 - 50 for the high and lows in the 20-30s. I don’t think it matters much as long as it’s not real hot. Blood flows slower in the cold so slightly less bleeding.
Watch hydration when dubbing. Underweight birds do not touch.

Much when in the backwood. Birds fed only waste grain, poor feather and weight put under the dubbing process. I can tell by the way you write you have not seen poor husbandry first hand.
How about you elaborate a little more to help me understand.
You quoted me with your comment so if you weren’t directing at me maybe you should have quoted someone else.
