Do you have traps set for him? If he’s coming through like that you shouldn’t have too much trouble getting him in a foothold. 1 3/4 or a #2 Bridger.
Traps are set and I know exactly where he goes. The other night he was farting around for a good two hours, dogs chasing cat not even a hundred yards away at time. GHO was just in so fox likely to follow. When trap gets him I will holler fox and my dogs are going to boil out to remove him the trap for me.

What kind of traps? Fox pelt shouldn’t be in too bad of shape now why waste it?

Coil spring. Same as used on last fox. Pelts here not yet in good fur here.
They’re not prime yet but not worth tossing. Not many people use longsprings for fox. I meant what size. I’m asking because you’ve said you have bobcats too.

#2. Bobcats has not been back where I could see it. Bobcat not generally an issue except during summer when I free-ranged a game cock around house. Cat took three in succession within a month. Did not take hens or young birds. Sucker I spotted when it stayed in tree as dogs walked under it. It had a cow when it saw I saw and bolted making so dogs new where it was.

Dutch clover works well. Down south, I think they also use dixie crimson clover as a cover crop. I have tried both and the dutch seems a little more resilient, but I am up north.
Dixie land delight it is. When is a good time to seed
