Field rat. There is 5 different chicken houses within 5miles, there's a meat processing building 1mile up the road, and pastures for 15min in each direction

I figured. Stop killing them damn cats and keep one outside. My outside cats kill wood rats all the time. They ain’t making across the yard without getting bit in half.

30 skunks in five years ain’t that many. I’ve taken that many raccoons out of my yard in about a year. I’m well over 100 now easy.

Coons ain't bad here we've caught 2 while we've lived here and our neighbor coon hunts across the road

Lol I’ve only lost one hen to a truly feral male I’ve never seen before.

I lost a few young ones to a feral tom a few years back.

I’ve had a hen with chicks kill a cat before. I was all the way at the other end of my yard and heard the wings flapping. I didn’t get there in time. Black double spurred hen just went batsh*t on her. She’s kinda mean.
