Anybody know why this happens?
I'm sure it ain't blood related because I have a Hatch, RadioHatch Cross, and grey (BlackJack) all three got this crap and it ain't letting their tail feathers get all nice and majestic.

They're all different ages too
The grey being the oldest
Then hatch
Then the cross

The two older birds started when they started growing their tail feathers and the young one when he started to grow his last set of tailfeathers

That I don’t know but I have a few rubles the same way and if they don’t start looking right soon. They’re gone.

He’s talking about the protective sheath on the tail feathers. If they keep growing out like that the tail will be all jacked up.
