I crossed my rubles with my blacks and I wasn’t impressed with them much. The one stag that looked pretty good got smoked by some lady in an suv. Couldn’t keep his stupid *ss out of the road.

That sucks. Im thinking of putting one of my McLeans with him

We herded the nimrods back using car. Dogs just watched them come back into driveway. Morons were a good 300 yards away from house.

I've been wanting to take two of my pens and use them as run pens with jump bars, but I have a few questions. Where on the body of a rooster would you want the jump post to be? Would a 2x4 be better then just a small limb? How far apart do I need to place the pens with them being 2x4welded wire run pens?

If your calling what I think you are a jump roost where they have to hop over it to get to the other side. Mines low enough where they can't go under it they have to go over the roost in my stag pens. I also put feed on one side an water on the other and use branches for the roost I use wire to tie them on the wire of pen to where the roost swings a bit.

That's just what I've got sure others do it differently.

Yea that's the idea. I'm only going to leave them in the pens for about an hour or so. Just don't know how close is to close, as I'm wanting the two roosters to work each other.

I'm thinking 6" neck per bird plus 3" for safety so a distance of 15" between pens?
