I get dropped at least twice a month. The worst time was when I was using a net to get a mean cock out. Man I touched the hot wire with the metal handle while holding the wire of the pen. I swear it felt like a damn dinosaur stomped on me. Had a bad headache the rest of the day too.

I set it up then decided to give it a little test run. The first shock was nice, but then I set my other hand on the dirt and got zapped hard as hell lol

Best thing to do is just unplug the fence when you're working around it. Especially in the rain. I still don’t usually but I think I’m just getting used to the tingle.

Wait til you have a rooster get loose on ya. I’ve dove through the wire before trying to catch one. Damn near ripped my head off, shocked myself and didn’t even catch him.
