What is a GHO?

Major part fun keeping chickens when doing the free-range bit. The butt munch came in this evening while the birds where still foraging. It was only interested in carcass but still made so I had to run it off so birds could get to pens. Then it came back and ate on carcass before I could get battery charged. I can walk directly under it even when it is only 30 feet up.
