My light brahma hens alsways would come running to great me when I’d pull into the driveway. They’d run right up to the fence and walk me into the yard.

Looks like a pure buff brahma except that the legs aren’t so heavily feathered and that they have white legs instead of yellow legs.

Oh, you said the magic word. I've loved this group of Brahmas, partridge, blue partridge and one Dark Brahma hen. My rooster, Bash (Sebastian, character from "Reign"), is the biggest, calmest rooster ever. They do eat more than my long gone hatchery Brahma hens did, but they are also larger birds, from a breeder in NY, our BYC member brahmapapa. They do have their own thread, but I rarely pass up a chance to show off this big guy. The only bad thing about Bash is that he's so huge, he can't have just any hens, must have Brahma-size hens. My Marvin Stukel line Barred Rock hens are large enough, but they're too old at 7 years to put up with a young guy like Bash, even if they didn't have their own rooster they're comfortable with.
