first the preface: My very first chicken, a green dyed easter chick found on the streets of chicago in 1953 or 54, was named "Dick Clark". . . he turned out to be a roo, and when he got agressive with the neighbors kids, he was re-homed. . . into someone's dinner, I suspect.

Currently I have "Red" the RIR; "Blue" the BPR; "Yellow" , unkown mixed breed, mostly golden with black feathers on wings and tail, and "Peepers" my Americauna.

***Yes, the above 4 names came from "Little Women" they are the names for my first four pullets

Remy LeBeau (Faverolles roo chick - Yes I am a fan of X-Men, plus "LeBeau" is French for "the handsome one"...it fits!!)

(Then there is Winky... I'm pretty sure he's a he... he's also the smallest Silkie I have EVER seen in my life....)
