Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Cute pictures, lots of handling will give you some very nice chickens to be around.

I am trying to find folks in MI with Delawares. At the moment I only know of one other.

Spring is almost here in actuality, but, still got several inches of new snow on the ground.
Life goes on.

Sorry about the duplicate post, it happens. Either too much coffee or not enough.

Is there any working idea of how many Delawares that there are now in America?

A website/breed club?

If not we could use one.

There is the Delaware club http://thedelclub.webstarts.com/ and their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Delaware-Poultry-Club/146874098703514 But it doesn't seem to be active which is unfortunate.. There is also a yahoo group http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/delaware_chickens/

OK - I have eleven [ 11 ]
Jake - you are in charge of keeping the tally or when you post put your number and the new count total.
Or possibly start a new thread. Maybe we can get an estimate of BYC Del #s

I have a breeding quad - so 4 adults and several juvies and chicks. I am growing out some to add to the breeding flock.

I don't think we need a new thread - too many to keep track of as it is - IMO
