Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

RedbugPoultry, that Delaware rooster photo looks like that rooster is a lot older than 22 weeks? never seen Wattles and comb that big so early. Very nice.

My girl is only a baby but man does she have personality. She is really loud and loves to wake up the others if she is the first one awake. She also fusses at them if they roost and she is on the ground. I think she's going to love it when she finally gets to go outside0

My delaware. She is my first chicken to lay eggs..and my first to eat them :( She is lucky I love her

Here are a few photo's of my 17 week old Delaware's. My two roosters are starting to look very nice. Love the nice orange legs.

Here are a few pics of my keeper cockerel from this year's breeding. I didn't hatch many. So I was glad to get one I think is worth working ith. Please let me know if you agree/ disagree and why. I would appreciate the feedback.

All three pics are of the same K. He is 5 months old, out of a line from Bill Braden here in Okla. He's third generation from the original birds I bought from Bill. His chest isn't quite "there" yet. But it's better than his dad! So we're making some progress.

20 weeks is early to make judgements - but agreed chest a little shallow and tail angle to high -
but pictures are hard to judge a bird
