hmmmmm I will have Thor babies after the move for sure. He has a variety of womenz his half-sister, 2 Dellies and will have 2 cochins (splash and a red). I would trade hatching eggs or babies for sure.

I wish I knew someone with a trailer already that we could pull but my van will not handle my friend's trailer here. It is a huge steel trailer. *sigh*


Not to mention the place we are looking at is 30 acres...so I could host "stop overs" transporting other folks to and fro.

Just a random though Cetawin, but, you could likely find a small used trailer on Craigslist or maybe even at Lowe's or Home Depot for alot less than the $1800 the movers want to charge, then turn around and sell it when you get there. You shouldn't be out NEAR as much trying that! Just an idea.

Oh, I was thinking plywood with inner shelves for the sweet babies. Didn't realize you had that many birds either. Still might work with 2 tiers each with 2 foot head space. It would be equivalent to 8x6. Do you have any cages? That would be 48 square feet of room for them...trying to figure if that would be enough...

Cetawin, I would keep going on the route your on. In your position, I would do the same thing!! Of course, my 36 adults plus 13 chicks would all... Just probably be in the van with me. Plastic would cover everything and they would be blocked from the front seat. Looks like I would need a van
