I have now determined that all my darling Dellies (hatched Nov 6 - 7, 2009) are only 18 1/2 weeks old.

IF they are laying, then they are all egg eaters!

<----going to put Thor and the Dellies back up for the night....I just came home to a black pit puppy roaming the yard with my neighbor hot on its heels...it has killed three of his chickens.....wish I would have known I would have shot the little sucker. grrrrrrr

Just had wisdom tooth pulled and feel like crapola but I am going to get my babies inside.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow I shall do it with the help of vicadin. LOL Turned out the tooth has an abcess at the root base sooooooo he did a bunch of scraping and stuff and my cheek area is already bruising.

I take Black Cohosh for the hot flashes and night sweats but I ran out on hand so will pick up some more tomorrow for sure.

I got everyone put up for the night safely but I am going to have to keep an eye out for that pup.

Glad that's over and the pain will fade, but wish I was there to help you with your chores for a day or two, till you feel better. Not sure I could handle your vicious Taco Bell beast, LOL.

If you don't have any of the Black Cohosh on hand, do you have any soy based products? I know that people swear by it. Increasing your soy intake is supposed to decrease menopause symptoms. I know I'm starting to have some of the early symptoms myself... hot one minute, cold the next etc. I'm not big on soy at all unless it's straight up edamame. What is this Black Cohosh?

Hi everyone- We are back from Las Vegas. We had a great time. And everything here turned out ok. I was worried if it would. The chicks are growing like crazy. I will get pictures of them up soon. I also have more Deliware eggs comming in the next few days. This batch is from Zephor creek. I can't wait!
Well I am gonna go my body still is really tired from all the late nights and traveling. Time to watch a little TV!

I know that Cheyenne is helping her Mommy though. Warm, wet, heat starting tomorrow night will help. Today just ice.

If they gave you the Vicodin with tylenol in it, you know you can still add Motrin to that (Ibuprofen) on odd hours to reduce the inflammation. You just can't mix in the tylenol (acetominophen) products with it.

Also, a good shot of alcohol, held in that section of the mouth for a few seconds helps numb the gums. An old Irish remedy. I'd recommend Jamesons Whiskey... just to hold true to the Irish part of the recommendation.

On the Packing, seriously take your time. I always do the "just throw it in the box and deal with it later" packing...and I'm still unpacking boxes over 18 months after moving in because dealing with each box is such a trauma.
